Indiana takes on Michigan State on Tuesday night in East Lansing in what will surely be an emotional night a week after a school shooting. The Spartans are a slight favorite on the opening line. Here's the latest, and a full breakdown of both teams against the point spread this season.

EAST LANSING, Mich. — For the first time since the horrific school shooting at Michigan State last week that claimed the lives of three students, Michigan State's men's basketball team is back on the floor Tuesday night. Indiana is the opponent in the game, which starts at 9 p.m. ET.

In what will surely be an emotional night, Michigan State is a 3-point favorite, according to the Fanduel gambling website. The over/under is 135.5.

It's the first of two road games this week for Indiana — they play Saturday at Purdue — and the Hoosiers need victories to stay in the Big Ten race. Indiana is 3-2 in Big Ten road games since starting the season with three straight losses, and beat Illinois and Michigan on the road as underdogs.

The game starts at 9 p.m. ET and will be televised on ESPN. Here's all the information on how to watch, plus a great preview of the game by HoosiersNow.com reporter Jack Ankony. CLICK HERE

Indiana has struggled at Michigan State through the years, winning just one of seven games here in the past decade. The only victory came on Feb.2, 2019, which Romeo Langford scored 19 points in a 79-75 overtime victory over the No. 6-ranked Spartans.

Indiana also won on Feb. 19, 2013 when the No. 1-ranked Hoosiers won 72-68 behind Victor Oladipo's 19 points. Those are their only two wins in their last 25 trips to East Lansing dating back to 1992.
