Point Spread UPDATE: Major Swing in Line Now Has Indiana Favored Over Nebraska

Indiana has been struggling at home of late, losing three of four in the friendly confines of Assembly Hall. The Hoosiers try to reverse that trend Wednesday night against Nebraska, a team that's 0-7 on the road in Big Ten play this season. Here's the latest on the point spread, with a great history versus the number for both teams.

Updated 6 p.m. ET, Wednesday, Nov. 21, 2024

BLOOMINGTON, Ind. — Indiana's once-dominant stretch at home has disappeared of late. The Hoosiers have lost three of their past four games at Simon Skjodt Assembly Hall, and they hope to end that trend on Wednesday night against Nebraska.

The oddsmakers don't think the Hoosiers are going to do it. It's Nebraska that's a modest 1.5-point favorite according to the SISportsbook.com gambling website on Wednesday morning. The over/under is 148.5.

  • *** UPDATE: There's been a huge swing in the point spread throughout the day. Now, at 6 p.m. ET, Indiana is a 2.5-point favorite. The line has swung a full four points since this morning, which is very rare. Almost 80 percent of the money bet thus far today has been on Indiana. We'll update this story before tipoff as well.  ***

Indiana was 9-1 in its first 10 home games, with its only loss to then No. 2 Kansas. But it's been a struggle lately, losing at home to Purdue, Penn State and Northwestern in the last four weeks. Their only home win was against Iowa.

Indiana lost at Nebraska earlier this season, which is no surprise considering the Cornhuskers' resume this season. They are 8-0 at home in Big Ten play, but 0-7 on the road.

The game starts at 8:30 p.m. ET and is being televised on the Big Ten Network For all of the information on how to watch and a great preview of the game from HoosiersNow.com writer Jack Ankony, CLICK HERE
