Big Ten Schools Account For 6 of Top-10 NIL Store Sales in January
Once again, the Big Ten dominated NIL sales for the month of January. According to the NIL Store, the conference accounted for six of the top-10 spots. Purdue was in the No. 1 spot, with Illinois, Iowa, Ohio State, Nebraska and Indiana also among the top teams for sales.
The NIL Store represents 40 schools. It's pretty impressive that the Big Ten accounts for more than half of the top-10 in sales for the month of January.
Purdue was the No. 1 overall team in sales for the month. Illinois came in at No. 5, Iowa was at No. 6, Ohio State sits at No. 7 and Nebraska hit No. 8. Indiana rounded out the list at No. 10.
The other four non-Big Ten schools to crack the top-10 list were UConn (No. 2), North Carolina (No. 3), Georgetown (No. 4) and Marquette (No. 9).
For December, five Big Ten teams ranked in the top-10 for sales. Once again, Purdue was at No. 1 on the list. Iowa was the second-best Big Ten school at No. 4. Illinois came in at No. 5. Indiana was at No. 7 and Nebraska rounded out the list at No. 10.
The NIL Store also posts the top-performing student-athletes each month. That top-10 list has not yet been released for January.
