Former Hoosier Jaylin Williams Signs With Minnesota Vikings as Undrafted Free Agent
Jaylin Williams is headed to Minnesota.
Shortly after the 2023 NFL Draft, the former Indiana cornerback signed with the Vikings as an undrafted free agent.
Williams played five seasons at Indiana, appearing in 54 games with 31 starts. The 6-foot, 180-pound cornerback was a second-team All-Big Ten selection in 2020 and received an All-Big Ten honorable mention in 2021.
Williams ranked eighth in the nation with four interceptions in 2020, helping the Hoosiers go 6-2 with an appearance in the Outback Bowl. In his five-year career, he recorded 152 total tackles, 30 passes defended, 6.5 tackles for loss, six interceptions, two sacks, one fumble recovery and one blocked field goal.
He was one of five Indiana players who were signed to deals after the 2023 NFL Draft. No Hoosiers were drafted. (Stories are the other four players are linked below.)
