BLOOMINGTON, Ind. – Travares Daniels II announced his commitment to Indiana on Friday, becoming the fifth member of coach Curt Cignetti's 2025 recruiting class.

Daniels is a 6-foot-1, 200-pound linebacker from St. Thomas Aquinas High School in Fort Lauderdale, Fla. He joins wide receiver LeBron Bond, defensive back Garrett Reese and offensive linemen Evan Parker and Matt Marek in Indiana's 2025 class.

Daniels is a three-star recruit, according to ESPN and Rivals. ESPN ranks him No. 29 among safeties, due to his experience at that position in high school, and No. 60 among Florida recruits. He's unranked by recruiting sites 247 Sports and On3.

Daniels helped St. Thomas Aquinas go 14-1 during his junior season. He made 70 total tackles and seven tackles for loss, according to MaxPreps.

Daniels received a scholarship offer from Indiana on Jan. 16, and he visited Bloomington on Feb. 5 and April 4. He chose Indiana over offers from Bowling Green, Colorado, Florida International, Florida Atlantic, Georgia Tech, Illinois, James Madison, Kentucky, Maryland, Michigan State, Ole Miss, Pittsburgh, SMU, Syracuse, Temple, Tennessee, South Florida, Western Kentucky, Western Michigan and West Virginia.
