BLOOMINGTON, Ind. — Wednesday, the Indiana soccer program revealed its 2023 schedule, which includes seven opponents that made the 2022 NCAA Tournament and eight teams that finished top 40 in RPI (rating percentage index) last fall.

Ten home games will be played at Bill Armstrong Stadium in Bloomington, Ind. not including two home exhibition matches beginning with Wright State on Friday, August 11.

“Our 2023 schedule is packed with top teams from coast to coast,” head coach Todd Yeagley said. “Having a challenging non-conference schedule ensures we are battle-tested and prepared for postseason opportunities.

“The Big Ten continues to be one of the top conferences in the nation, and we expect great matches as we all chase the conference title. We are fortunate to have an unbelievable atmosphere at Armstrong Stadium, and we look forward to the excitement ahead this fall.”

Indiana will open up its regular season versus the Notre Dame Fighting Irish on Thursday, Aug. 24 in South Bend, Ind. Five of the last six games have been decided by one goal, all Indiana wins, between the two Indiana-based teams.

The first home game is slated for Tuesday, Aug. 29 versus DePaul. Last season, the Hoosiers were 9-1-3 at home and finished with a 14-4-7 overall record. No. 13 Indiana ended its 2022 season on a 7-6 shootout loss to No. 3 Syracuse in the NCAA College Cup.

One goal short didn't define the successful season Indiana played as it went 8-3-2 against ranked teams.

Tickets for the 2023 season are on sale now and can be purchased online or by calling the IU Athletics Ticket Office at 1-866-IUSPORTS (487-7678). Adult season ticket packages are $40 while youth ages 3-18 season tickets run at $20. Single-game tickets will go on sale starting Aug. 2.

Indiana University staff and students will receive free admission to home games with a valid Crimson Card.
