Caitlin Clark is ranked as one of the top women's basketball recruits in the 2020 class.

On Tuesday, Clark gave her verbal commitment to Iowa.

Clark, a 5-foot-11 guard rated the No. 4 recruit in the nation by ESPN, averaged 32.5 points and seven rebounds last season at West Des Moines Dowling High School.

Clark's final three choices were Iowa, Iowa State and Notre Dame.

Clark joins two other in-state recruits — 6-3 post Sharon Goodman of Crestwood and wing Shateah Wetering of Montezuma — and 5-10 guard Lauren Jensen of Lakeville North (Minn.) High School in Iowa's 2020 class. Clark is a five-star recruit, according to ESPN, while Goodman, Wetering, and Jensen are three-star recruits.
