GameDay Coming to Carver-Hawkeye Arena
IOWA CITY, Iowa – The University of Iowa women’s basketball team will host No. 2 Indiana in front of a sellout crowd on Feb. 26 on national television. To further amplify the highly-anticipated Big Ten showdown at 1 p.m. (CT), ESPN’s College GameDay Covered by State Farm will broadcast live from Carver-Hawkeye Arena on Mediacom Court for the first time in school history from 10 to 11 a.m.
Elle Duncan will host the show alongside commentators Andraya Carter, Rebecca Lobo, Carolyn Peck and Holly Rowe. Duncan also will report live for ESPN SportsCenter during the 9 to 10 a.m. window.
Arena gates open to ticketed fans to the game at 9 a.m. Fans should sit in sections AA-B first and fill in around after that. After the show has concluded, fans may exit the arena and re-enter with the same ticket.
