The Iowa men's basketball team lost three players to the transfer portal following the season. Two of them announced they have found new homes.

On Saturday, Patrick McCaffery indicated on social media that he'd be heading to Butler in Indianapolis. His older brother, former Hawkeye Connor McCaffery, has been working with the Indiana Pacers in that city.

Tony Perkins revealed that he'd be heading to Missouri on Monday. On April 3, he cut his list of prospective schools to Arkansas, Indiana, Missouri, Oklahoma, Ole Miss and Oregon.

Sophomore point guard Dasonte Bowen was the first Hawkeye in the portal. He has not selected a new college home.

Big Ten coaches and media named Perkins a second-team all-league pick after this past season. The Indianapolis native led the Hawkeyes in assists (4.6 per game), ranked second in scoring (14.0 PPG) and fourth in rebounding (4.4 RPG)

Patrick McCaffery became the 53rd Hawkeye to reach 1,000 career points during last season. The son of head coach Fran McCaffery, Patrick started 61 games throughout his Iowa career.

McCaffery and Perkins have one year of eligibility remaining.
