Brevin Doll Chooses Iowa Football
For the second time in as many days, Iowa Football picked up a commitment from a 2024 running back. Sunday, in-state ball carrier Brevin Doll announced his intentions on social media.
"I have always been a Hawk fan and grew up going to the games," Doll told HN. "It has always just felt like home to me."
The Adel (IA) A-D-M junior also reported scholarship offers from Army, Iowa State, Kansas State, Minnesota, Oklahoma State and Purdue, among others. He recently enjoyed an unofficial campus visit with the Hawkeyes.
Doll committed to them a day after Indiana running back Xavier Williams joined the class. Following Doll's addition, 247Sports ranked Iowa No. 17 in its national '24 recruiting rankings. On3 had it six spots behind that.
This calendar year has been a whirlwind for Doll. All but one of his scholarship offers (Army) have arrived since the end of January.
"It feels like a big weight lifted off my shoulders. My recruiting journey was tiring at times, and I’m glad that I have found my home," Doll said .
Doll (6-0, 190) led the state with 2,681 all-purpose yards in 2022. He rushed for 1,475 yards (8.2 YPC) and 27 touchdowns, and accumulated 640 receiving yards (19.4 YPR) with six scores. He averaged 38.8 yards and found the end zone once on 12 kick returns, and returned four punts for 100 yards and a TD.

The Iowa Track program played host to Doll on a recruiting visit during September. As a sophomore season last spring, he ran the 100 meters in 10.74 seconds, the 200 in 21.89 and the 400 in 51.17.
On3 and 247Sports see Doll as a three-star prospect. On3 shows him as 37th best running back nationally in '24 and the No. 3 player overall in Iowa for the cycle. 247 ranks him seventh in the state.
Doll has decided if he will give track a try at Iowa. He became the ninth known verbal commitment in Iowa Football's '24 Class. He was the sixth in-state prospect to pledge to the Hawkeyes.
