It's that time of the season again, where the Kansas Jayhawks make a big push to get back into contention for the Big 12 regular season title. That has always led to some big games in Allen Fieldhouse in early to mid February, and today is no exception. The Baylor Bears come to town looking to extend their winning streak and remain in striking distance of the conference lead. With College Gameday in town this morning, the stage is as big as Kansas fans are used to seeing.

Kansas jumped up in the polls this week, rising to the #4 spot in each of the polls to replace Houston. Baylor came in at #13 in both polls after their three-game winning streak.

The Jayhawks lead the all-time series 35-9, including a 19-1 mark in Lawrence and 18-1 in Allen Fieldhouse. The series has been pretty even recently, as the teams have split the last 10 matchups. The only loss at home in the series for Kansas came in 2020, with the Jayhawks returning the favor in Waco a month later.
