Once again the countdown returns to the Rock Chalk Podcast for a preview of an opponent of the Kansas Football schedule. This time, we jump to Week 6 when the Jayhawks welcome the TCU Horned Frogs to Lawrence. Helping us with the details today is Melissa Triebwasser of Frogs Today.

The episode looks at the takeaways from Big 12 Media Days, including a suprising strength highlighted by first year coach Sonny Dykes. Then we transition into the issue on everyone's mind: The quarterback play. After thoroughly dissecting the prospects of the season from the position, we round out the rest of the offense before talking about the biggest differences and worries for the defense. And of course it wouldn't be a TCU preview without talking about another ugly schedule, complete with a ridiculous amount of games in straight weeks to end the season.

The episode gets started by noting just how weird it is that Gary Patterson wasn't at the podium for the Horned Frogs, which then transitions to a discussion of the first impressions of Sonny Dykes at the helm of the program. This includes a discussion about how big of a difference it will be to scheme for play at the Power 5 level.

From there, we take a stroll through the offense, starting with the position that I was surprised to hear listed as a strength for TCU: the offensive line. Given the issues last year, we have to take some time to discuss whether this is a "strength" or a STRENGTH of the team.

The natural discussion surrounding the TCU offense is the play of QB Max Duggan. While Chandler Morris had some impressive games, it seems like the job is still Duggan's to lose. But just how much improvement do we think we might see? A lot will depend on the ability to maximize the contributions of the other skill position players.

After the break, we look at the defense. A big improvement is needed, but will the change in defensive scheme be enough. While the players look a lot bigger this year, there are still big question marks to discuss.\

And of course, we finish up with a discussion of the schedule. Once again, the Horned Frogs have to play 10 straight games to end the season, including all of Big 12 play. We discuss how much of a problem that might be for this team, and which stretches are particularly troubling for TCU fans.
