The newest College Football Playoff rankings are out and the championship games this weekend are of course of the utmost importance to those playing, but also to teams like Ohio State who could use a huge dose of upsets to regain a spot in the Top 4. We list all five power conference title games below with time and TV info as well as a little analysis. Find that comfy place on the couch, it’s going to be a great weekend of football.

Washington 34, Oregon 31

Pac 12 Championship, Las Vegas.

Number three Washington took care of business and will play in the College Football Playoffs thanks to a win against the number five Oregon Ducks. Washington's foe will be determined by the outcomes of the following games.

18 Oklahoma State vs 7 Texas

Big XII Championship, Dallas. Saturday, December 2, 11:00 AM ABC

Ah, yes. Texas against Oklahoma State. The matchup we all thought would happen after Oklahoma State got pummeled by South Alabama in week three. But the Cowboys have rattled off seven wins in eight games, the only loss being that anomaly of a game in Orlando against UCF. Ollie Gordon has led the way for OSU, racking up 1,580 yards and 20 touchdowns on the ground so far. Texas is led by quarterback Quinn Ewers and he will be looking to get the Longhorns an outside shot at a Top 4 place (a win and an Alabama loss would really help). Texas is the early two touchdown favorite in their home state where they will be well supported.

1 Georgia vs 8 Alabama

SEC Championship, Atlanta. Saturday, December 2, 3:00 PM CBS

Georgia knows that if they win, they’re in. Alabama will need to win and have a few other results go their way including Texas losing seeing as the Crimson Tide have lost to the Longhorns already. This is the type of game that college football has been craving, traditional programs that happen to play in different divisions but haven’t played each other through a scheduling quirk. The number one Bulldogs are six point faves in this one, a game being played just down the road from Athens in Atlanta.

2 Michigan vs 16 Iowa

B1G Championship, Indianapolis. Saturday, December 2, 7:00 PM Fox

Michigan knows that if it wins, it clinches a place in the national semifinal and anything other than a win would be catastrophic. The Wolverines dispatched their most hated rivals last weekend and now face an extremely underwhelming Iowa Hawkeyes team in Indianapolis. Michigan is a 24 point favorite to win and it’s easy to see why. Iowa simply doesn’t score enough. They are 7-2 in the Big Ten, but have won games in the league (the west division is terrible too) by scoring 10, 13, 15 twice, 20, 22 and 26 points. They even lost to mighty 5-7 Minnesota by scoring 10 to the Gopher's 12. This might be a good time to get some exercise or something. Or simply switch channels from the Big Ten to the ACC.

14 Louisville vs 4 Florida State

ACC Championship, Charlotte. Saturday, December 2, 7:00 PM ABC

Florida State jumped back into the playoff spots with a less than convincing win over rivals Florida, but combined with the Ohio State loss to Michigan, it was enough. Now, all the Seminoles have to do is win and they should be playing in a semifinal match. Louisville on the other hand was a pretty great story, on pace for storybook status until their shock loss at the weekend to Kentucky. Florida State is of course without their QB Jordan Travis and the betting houses know it. This game has fluctuated between two and three points all week and could be the closest of any of the Power Five title games.
