Kansas held a 20-16 advantage with roughly ten minutes to play as UNLV was approaching midfield they tried to take a late lead. Quarterback Matthew Sluka fumbled on a run and the ball was touched by three different Jayhawks players.

The problem? None of those three players fell on the ball.


Instead Jacob De Jesus fell on it for UNLV and the Rebels would march down the field to take the go-ahead score.
