Both the Coaches Poll and AP Poll have the Jayhawks just on the outside of the rankings, and the reactions tell you how much respect the nation has for Kansas.

The college football polls come out every Sunday afternoon during the season, and for fans of the Kansas Jayhawks, it's a time that is usually ignored. But with the Jayhawks starting this season undefeated, many have been wondering how long it was going to take for Leipold's squad to make their appearance.

After Kansas beat Duke to advance to 4-0, the Twitter campaign started to get the Jayhawks ranked.

The calls continued this morning, as everyone was eagerly awaiting the release of the polls.

Unfortunately, when the polls came out, the Jayhawks were listed, but only in the "Receiving Votes" categories. Kansas rates out as #27 in the Coaches Poll and #26 in the AP Poll.

The Twitter public was not pleased.

I never thought that I would see the day that Kansas Football was left out of both polls AND basically everyone in the world of college sports would call them out for it.

I guess the only thing left is to go beat Iowa State and force them to rank you next week.
