Charles White Breaks Down Top Schools
The Kansas Jayhawks have been specifically targeting players on the defensive end to bolster a defense that ha relatively struggle. And one place that they have been fairly successful is in the Detroit, MI area.
Three-star linebacker target Charles White, the top-rated player at his position in Michigan, released his top four schools consisting of Kansas, Michigan State, Purdue, and Boston College.
White is a big target for this Kansas staff at the linebacker position and has felt more and more like a priority as the days grow older. According to ON3 here are the odds of each of the schools landing him.
Michigan State: 37.9%
Purdue: 33.1%
Kansas: 21.5%
Boston College: Less than 1%

He plays high school ball at Orchard Lake St. Mary’s High School in West Bloomfield, Michigan. Following his list releasing he caught up Blue Wings Rising to explain each school.
Michigan State: “Michigan State is close to home and I watched them growing up. Also, I love the facility and my relationship with the coaches!”
Kansas: “Kansas has a lot to do with the history of recruiting in my area and I also have a great relationship with Coach Simpson.”
Purdue: “They have a beautiful campus and I have a great relationship with a lot of the coaching staff.”
Boston College: “Former St. Mary’s football player Kam Arnold goes there. They also have a beautiful campus and I also have a great relationship with the coaches.”
He did catch up with Blue Wings Rising before his top schools were released.
He talked about plenty of things including the pitch that was given to him by Coach Simpson.
“His pitch to me is that I’m a very versatile player and he likes the physicality that I have and bring.”
White plans to visit Lawrence in early June, immediately after a June 7th visit to Michigan State.
