Dalton Knapp Talks KU Visit
The Kansas Jayhawks have had many visitors come to Lawrence with spring football being in season. Many of these players are key recruits and one of the names to be listed as a visitor in the month of April so far is Dalton Knapp.
Knapp is an edge rusher target from the 2025 class from Grapevine, Texas as he attends Grapevine High School. He is a 6-foot-5 frame and recently caught up with Blue Wings Rising.
“What makes the Kansas Jayhawks special is the staff’s attention to detail,” Knapp stated to Blue Wings Rising. “Every little thing was thought out and the discipline the whole program carries that Coach Leipold has put into place.”
He went into detail about which coach stood out to him the most and he also provided an explanation.
“I like Coach O a lot because of how open and honest he is he’s straightforward about everything in the program and I really appreciate that.”
As mentioned he visited earlier this month. He had many great things to say about his trip as he went into detail.
“It was great,” said Knapp. “The hospitality from Coach Leipold and the rest of the staff was great I saw a lot of great things and I could definitely see myself becoming a Jayhawk.”
He does have an official visit scheduled with the Kansas Jayhawks he confirmed.
Many teams have been sticking out for the talented edge rusher so it’s quite hard to determine where he stands but Arkansas State and Kansas both seem to be in a good position in this one and are the two likely front runners as of now.
