Prospect Breakdown: Kaden Snyder
2026 in-state prospect Kaden Snyder has tons of quality traits
In this story:
Kaden Snyder is a recently offered 2026 offensive line prospect for Kansas. He currently plays high school ball at Salina Central High School in Salina, Kansas.
Snyder has visited the Jayhawks many times in the past and the Jayhawks are definitely making a push for the in-state prospect. The 6-foot-5 255-pound prospect brings multiple talented traits according to his position coach Tony Chesney. See what Chesney had to say HERE.
You can also see what Snyder had to say about his offer HERE.
Following his offer I did a deep film dive to check out the on-field traits that Snyder possesses. Here are the notes that I put together following the review.
Strengths
- Aggressive: The first thing you see is his physical attributes and his intense aggression. He is out to block with bad intentions and often finishes blocks with ease.
- Footwork: He has high-level footwork, especially for his class. You don’t see him taking many bad steps and he has a good first step which often creates a matchup advantage.
- Vision: It would be hard for you not to classify his vision as elite. He can pick up a block with ease and is violent when doing so. He does this at both the line of scrimmage and the next level.
- Hustle: He plays through the whistle. It doesn’t matter if he is 50 yards downfield. If that whistle hasn’t blown he is still pressing forward.
- Pass Pro: He is an excellent pass blocker. He knows how to protect the quarterback. You could tell the quarterback was comfortable.
Areas To Improve
- Carefulness: Mostly noticed in down-the-field situations you can see him at times be borderline on the block in the back. It happens to all linemen eventually but this is something to be a bit cautious of.
- Size: This is something I expect to improve naturally as he grows older. As of now, he isn’t a college-ready size for an offensive lineman. However, he has plenty of time to add to his weight.
