Tyler Williams Breaks Down Offer From Kansas
The Kansas Jayhawks have a history of bringing in talented guys at the receiving positions, and the next few years seem like they will be no different with the offers recently extended. One of those recent offers was to Tyler Williams.
Williams is a 6-foot-2 190-pound wide receiver prospect from Sumner High in Riverview, Florida. He is a representative of the 2025 recruiting class and holds many offers including Kansas, Cincinnati, Florida, Colorado, and more. He received his Kansas offer back on January 23rd of 2024 and since then has spoken with Blue Wings Rising, sharing some thoughts on his offer.
“The Kansas offer was a blessing, every offer is a blessing especially from a P5 that is on the come up of being very good.” Williams dove deeper into his conversation with the coaching staff. “I talked with coach Panagos and it was a real good conversation. He was telling me how impressed they were with my film and that the WR coach really really liked me. We also talked about coming up there for a visit this spring. They want me to know that I can come and develop and be in a great environment surrounded by great people. They don’t make me feel pressured they are just trying to build a good connection.”
The talented wide receiver feels as if he could bring a lot to the table for a program like Kansas. “I can bring everything from athleticism catching every ball to returning kicks for touchdowns, I like to think I’m a game changer I will score touchdowns any way possible. I’m also a great teammate I will block greatly and will be very supportive of my teammates.”
Although he has yet to set a date he does have plans to come up for a visit. He confirms with Blue Wings Rising, “I will try and get on campus sometime in the spring.”
