Former five-star Georgia quarterback Brock Vandagriff has committed to Kentucky
After the 2023 season, Kentucky is looking for a new quarterback after Devin Leary just wasn't what many imagined he would be for the Cats.
This raised the question, well, which of these portal quarterbacks will Coach Mark Stoops go get?
That question has been answered as former Georgia quarterback Brock Vandagriff just committed to Kentucky.
Vandagriff was the number 17 overall player in the 2021 recruiting class but was log-jammed by an extremely talented Georgia quarterback room.
This season for the Dawgs, Vandagriff threw 18 passes, completing 12 for 165 yards and two touchdowns.
While Vandagriff was a backup, he is truly a gifted quarterback who can really spin it.
I would define Vandagriff as a pocket passer, but he has enough athleticism to make plays with his legs if the pocket collapses or he has green grass ahead of him.
Vandagriff has two years of eligibility left, so he could be in Lexington for multiple years, which is exciting.
What should excite Big Blue Nation the most about Vandagriff is how well he fits into Liam Coen's system.
Coach Coen will wake up excited to go to work every day, knowing Vandagriff is his quarterback.
This is a massive get for Kentucky, and it will be extremely exciting to watch Vandagriff walk out on Kroger Field wearing blue and white.
