OT Hayes Johnson signs with Kentucky.

Hayes Johnson just made it official by signing with the Kentucky Wildcats, and he is another in-state addition for Mark Stoops. Johnson is a player who can start for the Big Blue Wall after a few years in a college weight room.

Let's get to know a little bit more about Johnson.

Hayes Johnson

Position: Offensive Tackle

Size: 6'5, 295 pounds

Hometown: Campbellsville, Kentucky

Recruitment: Johnson had offers from schools like Baylor, Cincinnati, and Louisville but decided to play in the SEC.

Ranking: Johnson is ranked as the 128th player in 247Sports composite rankings and is a three-star.

Frame: Johnson has the frame to play tackle at the next level, but during his first few seasons in Lexington, he will need to add at least 15-20 pounds to compete in the SEC.

Early Signing Day: Wednesday, December 20th is Early Signing Day, which means players committed to Kentucky's 2024 recruiting class will make it official by signing their National Letter of Intent (NLI).
