Jacob Smith is an elite pass rusher who will create havoc in Kroger Field, and he just made it official by signing his NLI.

Size: 6'4.5, 230 pounds

Hometown: Corbin, Kentucky

Recruitment: Smith has offers from nearly every big school in the nation and was committed to Michigan for a while but decided to flip to play for the Cats like his brother Jerod.

Ranking: Smith is ranked as the 198th player in 247Sports composite rankings and is a four-star.

Frame: Smith has the perfect long frame that it takes to get after opposing quarterbacks. He will have a ton of sacks during his time in Lexington. 


Early Signing Day: Wednesday, December 20th is Early Signing Day, which means players committed to Kentucky's 2024 recruiting class will make it official by signing their National Letter of Intent (NLI). This is a big day for Mark Stoops and the Kentucky football program as they look to officially lock down some of the tremendous talented committed in the 2024 class.
