Kentucky just got better up front as IOL Marc Nave chose the Cats.

Marc Nave is a three-star interior offensive lineman from Toledo, Ohio, who is ranked as the 650th-best player in the 2024 recruiting class.

Nave was committed to Ohio State for over seven months before decommitting on September 30th.

He was in Lexington visiting on November 10th and ultimately deciding to play his college football for the Kentucky Wildcats.

It's no secret that Kentucky needs help up front, and a 6'5, 320-pound offensive lineman is just the help the Cats need.

I often talk about how offensive line is a position where having the dog mentality people often reference is more important than anything else, and Nave has it in surplus.

Some fans might look at this commitment and say he's ranked as the 650th player in the class and not get too excited, but you have to look at his offer list.

Nave has offers from Georgia, Auburn, Ohio State, Missouri, and many other Power Five schools.

Some of the big players in the college football world wanted Nave, but Vince Marrow and Mark Stoops got him, which should excite Big Blue Nation.

With his size and technique, I would not be surprised to see Nave get some run as a freshman.

This is a big time get for the Kentucky Wildcats as Marrow and Stoops proved once again Ohio is a hotbed for Kentucky football recruiting.
