The Kentucky football team wasn't ranked in the Preseason AP Top 25 Poll, but the Wildcats did receive 14 votes.

That is four more votes than rival Louisville received.

Kentucky plays three preseason-ranked opponents, with two of those games being in Kroger Field and one on the road.

Let's take a look at which three Kentucky opponents saw their names listed on the AP Top 25 Poll.

#1 Georgia Bulldogs

#4 Alabama Crimson Tide

#12 Tennessee Volunteers

Kentucky will play Alabama and Tennessee in Kroger Field but will have to hit the road to face the number one team in the nation Georgia.

This Kentucky football is primed to have a good season and potentially pull off some monumental upsets in front of their fans.

With Liam Coen back in Lexington calling plays, Barion Brown and Dane Key catching passes from star quarterback Devin Leary, this team will quickly clean up last year's offensive struggles.

The defense is primed for an outstanding season returning a handful of starters and bringing in some talented players from the transfer portal.

This Kentucky football team is underrated, but they have a roster good enough to win eight or more games in 2023.

Brown and Key are one of the best one and two punches in college football, and these two will take a massive step forward this season.

Kentucky might not be ranked to start the 2023 season but watch out because Mark Stoops's squad is ready to silence the haters.
