Kentucky Briefing: Reports say Kentucky football coach Mark Stoops will stay in Lexington

After the big win over #10 Louisville, it sounds like Mark Stoops is staying in Lexington.

It was a weird day for Kentucky football fans that could be explained as a roller coaster ride.

The day started with the Cats getting a massive season saving win over #10 Louisville to keep the Governor's Cup in Lexington for the fifth straight season.

Then the day took a shift as Stoops's name started to get floated around in reference to Texas A&M's head coaching gig.

Past 10 pm et, reports came out from all over places like ESPN, On3, and all of the big name outlets in College Station reporting Stoops would take the job.

This sent Big Blue Nation and the people in Aggieland into a frenzy for all sorts of different reasons.

Then an hour after this news came out, Matt Jones and Stoops himself announced he would be staying in Lexington.

This was an all-around crazy night that had the emotions of both fanbases going up and down all evening.

But, according to many different sources, Coach Stoops will stay in Lexington looking to make more history.
