Kentucky Briefing: Deone Walker will be unstoppable this season
Deone Walker is an absolute unit of a human being and will be incredibly difficult for opposing offensive linemen to block.
In his true freshman season, the six-foot-six 348-pound defensive lineman from Detroit, Michigan, had 40 tackles, one sack, and one forced fumble.
I believe he could be one of the best interior defensive linemen in the country this season and has the preseason accolades to back that statement.
Coach Stoops had to kick him out of scrimmages because he kept stuffing all of the plays. They literally had to boot him out to run the offense effectively.
Walker will be a force, and I truly feel bad for the offensive lineman that will have to stop him from making plays.
The recruit and develop approach has worked for the Cats during the Stoops era, and it has paid off again with Walker.
