In this story:

Deone Walker is an absolute unit of a human being and will be incredibly difficult for opposing offensive linemen to block.

In his true freshman season, the six-foot-six 348-pound defensive lineman from Detroit, Michigan, had 40 tackles, one sack, and one forced fumble.

I believe he could be one of the best interior defensive linemen in the country this season and has the preseason accolades to back that statement.

Coach Stoops had to kick him out of scrimmages because he kept stuffing all of the plays. They literally had to boot him out to run the offense effectively.

Walker will be a force, and I truly feel bad for the offensive lineman that will have to stop him from making plays.

The recruit and develop approach has worked for the Cats during the Stoops era, and it has paid off again with Walker.

Andrew Stefaniak wrote about how Kentucky was ranked as one of ten teams that could win the National Championship this season on the hardwood.

"Kentucky was listed as one of ten teams that can win a National Championship this season, according to On3."

"The Wildcats will play three teams this season that are also on this list by Jamie Shaw."
