Kentucky Briefing: The Wildcats were ranked inside Mike Farrell's top 15
We've been talking all week about how the Cats aren't receiving any love from the national media, but that changed after Mike Farrell's top 25 rankings came out.
Farrell had the Wildcats ranked 13th in these rankings, making them fourth in the SEC and second in the East behind Georgia.
Let's take a look at where Farrell has SEC teams ranked in his top 25.
1. Georgia
5. Alabama
6. LSU
13. Kentucky
17. Tennessee
23. South Carolina
Kentucky's rival Louisville was also ranked in this list, sitting at the 25 spot.
This is the first top 25 rankings I have seen where the Wildcats are receiving due respect.
Farrell wrote this next to Kentucky, "Too high? Not if they fix the OL issues. This is a scary team."
He seems to think if the Big Blue Wall gets back to being dominant this season, the Wildcats will be a problem in the SEC.
Mark Stoops's team is ready to show the SEC that they belong, and finally, someone in the national media recognizes that.
