Kentucky Briefing: Kentucky listed as "a school to watch" for former Kansas State quarterback Will Howard
Kansas State quarterback Will Howard says he will enter the transfer portal when it opens in a few days after a handful of seasons playing for the purple and silver Wildcats.
Howard threw for 2,643 yards and 24 touchdowns this season for the Wildcats while completing 61.3% of his passes.
He also rushed for 364 yards and three touchdowns for the Kansas State Wildcats.
Since saying he intends to put his name in the portal, On3 put out a list of schools that are possible destinations to watch for when it comes to Howard's next stop.
Those schools include Kentucky, Auburn, Louisville, Missouri, and Washington.
Howard plans to test the NFL waters, but if he does come back to play in college, it could be for one of these schools.
After the failed season with Devin Leary quarterbacking Kentucky, it's time for a fresh start, and that fresh start could be Howard.
It's a name to pay attention to when the portal opens in the coming days.

"We found out yesterday that Kentucky freshman seven-footer Aaron Bradshaw was back practicing with the team after undergoing an off-season surgery."
"Bradshaw was out warming up with the team as they prepared to take on the Miami Hurricanes."
