Kentucky Briefing: Wake up Big Blue Nation it's time to keep the Governor's Cup in Lexington
The Kentucky Wildcats are set to take on the Louisville Cardinals in what should be a fun rivalry matchup.
It's no secret the Kentucky Wildcats haven't had the season many expected, but this game is an opportunity to turn that around.
Kentucky has to have a good offensive day to win this game, which means Devin Leary needs to play well.
There were some high expectations for Leary coming into this season, and like the team as a whole, he didn't meet those expectations.
This game will give Leary a chance to turn his season around if he can win the Governor's Cup on the road.
If Kentucky loses this ball game, sending the Governor's Cup back to Louisville, it will be one of the most disappointing seasons in Kentucky football history.
But on the other hand, if the Cats were able to pull out this win, Big Blue Nation would be incredibly happy over the Holiday weekend.

I wrote about a list that was extremely disrespectful to freshman guard Reed Sheppard.
"We are now five games into the college basketball season, and one reason the Kentucky Wildcats have had a hot start is thanks to freshman guard Reed Sheppard."
"Sheppard is averaging 10.6 points, three rebounds, three assists, 3.4 steals, and 1.2 blocks a game for the Cats."
"The freshman from the Bluegrass State is also shooting a whooping 66.7% from beyond the arc."
