Kentucky Briefing: ESPN's matchup predictor doesn't think Kentucky will hang with Kansas

Will Kentucky beat the Kansas Jayhawks?

The Kentucky Wildcats are 2-0, but their next matchup will be much tougher as they will head to Chicago to take on the #1 Kansas Jayhawks.

ESPN's matchup predictor isn't giving the Cats much of a chance in this football as they give them a 25.3% chance to take down the Jayhawks.

It will be hard for the Cats to win this basketball game without all of their seven-footers, as Kansas's big man, Hunter Dickinson, is one of the best in college hoops.

The only chance the Cats have in this game is if Tre Mitchell has a really big game down low where he plays great defense on Dickinson, grabs a bunch of rebounds, scores down low, and makes some threes to stretch the defense.

If Mitchell can do all of these things, the Cats have the guard play to stick around.

It will be interesting to see how the freshman respond playing under the bright lights of the big city.

We will learn a lot about this Kentucky basketball team on Tuesday when they face off with the best team in college hoops.

We wrote it

I wrote about two players who raised their stock against the Texas A&M-Commerce Lions.

The Kentucky Wildcats were able to beat Texas A&M-Commerce by 20 points after going down by 13 points early in the first half.

It was good to see the Cats get punched in the mouth early in this game but still rebound for a commanding win.
