2025 Top 10 guard prospect Meleek Thomas plans to schedule a visit to Kentucky

The 6th ranked prospect in 2025 has Kentucky among his top 12 schools, and plans to visit Lexington in the next few months.
In this story:

John Calipari and the Kentucky Wildcats never struggle to land premier five-star guards while on the recruiting trail. That trend will no doubt continue as high schoolers watch this year's team, who could put three freshman guards into the 2024 NBA Draft.

Looking ahead to 2025, the Wildcats already have their eyes on a top-ranked prospect in Meleek Thomas from Lincoln Park, PA, who is currently ranked sixth in the class according to On3's composite rankings.

Thomas listed Kentucky among his top 12 programs back in September and recently told On3 he is looking to schedule a visit to Kentucky, alongside Michigan, Auburn, and, interestingly Alabama - who was not on his initial top 12 list.

Thomas was supposed to take official visits to Michigan and Auburn, but both trips were canceled. He has taken unofficial visits to Penn State, Pitt, Villanova, and Indiana.

Thomas has been scouted as a score-first guard with extreme range and tons of confidence, and it's not hard to see how naturally he would fit in for Calipari and the Wildcats if he decides to take his talent to Lexington starting in 2025.
