Halftime Thoughts: Solid defense from Kentucky late in the half leads to a 12-point halftime lead over Ole Miss

Kentucky leads Ole Miss 43-29 at the break.

The Kentucky Wildcats lead Ole Miss 43-29 at the half as they got hot shooting late and slowed the Rebels in the last ten minutes of the half.

Justin Edwards just had his best half of the season as he scored 11 points on 4-6 shooting from the field. He had a +/- of +14 in the first half, which was one of the best on the team.

Another player who was impressive in the first half was Ugonna Onyenso. He played solid defense, blocking a whooping seven shots in 12 minutes on the floor. If Onyenso can start to play more physical down low it will be a massive boost for the Wildcats.

This team is fully healthy, and for the first time this season, we have seen the Wildcat's full roster active.

The Wildcats have a tough stretch of the schedule coming up, so they need to hold on and win this game to really help keep them off the bubble if they drop some games down the stretch.

Let's take a look at how to watch Kentucky's matchup with the Ole Miss Rebels.
