Kentucky basketball climbing inside top 20 of latest KenPom ratings

The Wildcats are slowly but surely moving their way up the ratings.
In this story:

The Kentucky Wildcats are making their way inside the top 20 of the KenPom ratings.

UK is now sitting at No. 19 after a 95-76 win over the Louisville Cardinals.

Here are some notable stats the Wildcats are really strong or weak in nationally:

Offense

Effective FG %: 57.5 (No. 10)

Turnover %: 12.9 (No. 3)

Off. Reb. %: 28.1 (No. 220)

3P%: 41.4 (No. 4)

Point Distribution, 3-Pointers: 34.9% (No. 75)

Defense

Avg. Poss. Length: 17.1 (No. 159)

Block %: 15.5 (No. 11)

Steal %: 12.2 (No. 42)

3PA/FGA (What percentage of opponent shots are 3-pointers): 42.8% (No. 321)

A/FGM (Assist percentage): 54.5 (No. 276)

Point Distribution, 3-Pointers: 34.4 (No. 57)

Personnel

Bench Minutes %: 29.9 (No. 210)

2-Foul Participation %: 12.1 (No. 258)

Notes:

Kentucky had a 100% 2-foul participation until the Penn game, where it tanked to 9.1%. It's now at 12.1%. I have no idea why this happened. It was likely an error in KenPom's system.

I'm assuming it climbed three percent because of how early and often UK fouled against Louisville. That's what the Cards tend to do to opponents.

The Wildcats are still top 75 in 3-pointer point distribution.

It should also be noted that Kentucky's defensive possession length has shrunk to an average 17.1 seconds. The adjusted tempo for the Wildcats has also risen to No. 20 nationally. Their defensive block percentage has risen from No. 19 to No. 11. Quite the rise from No. 36 just a couple of weeks ago.

Bench minutes continue to increase.
