Kentucky basketball is making moves on the NIL front
The college basketball world is changing, and programs need to adapt or die. Despite the history of Kentucky basketball, you still have to adapt, and this has happened as the program is embarking on a new name, image, and likeness journey.
La Familia is the NIL fund that Coach Calipari created last year to raise money from boosters and former players but now it is open to all of Big Blue Nation.
In the video announcing LA Familia is open to all of BBN, Coach Calipari said that 100% of the money will go to the players. In this video, Adou Thiero talked about how much NIL can change college athlete's lives and help their families, which is the great part about the new world of college athletics.

A 1,000-dollar donation gets you an exclusive trading card featuring select players. A donation of $5,000 gets you a basketball signed by members of the team. NIL is a big part of recruiting, so the goal of this is to help players and their families financially but also continue to help the Kentucky Wildcats land top talent every season.
