After a win over the Penn Quakers Kentucky stays put in the NET Rankings

Check out where the Cats are in this week's updated NET Rankings.

We are in the time of the college basketball season where not many games are played, which is why the Cats only had one ball game last week.

Kentucky took on the Penn Quakers in Philadelphia and won 81-66 behind a breakout performance from seven-footer Aaron Bradshaw.

This win kept Kentucky exactly where they were last week in the NET Rankings at the 39 spot.

The win over Penn was a Quad 3 win for the Kentucky Wildcats, with it being at a neutral site against the Quakers, who are ranked 183 in the NET.

Let's look at Kentucky's record broken up by Quads, as we are now nine games into the 2023-24 season.

Quad 1: 0-1

Quad 2: 2-0

Quad 3: 1-1

Quad: 4-0

With North Carolina being ranked 36th in the NET Rankings, if the Cats get the win with this game being at a neutral site, it would be a Quad 1 win for John Calipari's squad.

This will be a tough test for the Cats against a really good North Carolina team, but will be a big boost for this team if they get the win.

If Kentucky wins, they will shoot up all of the different rankings system next week.
