Kentucky got a favorable draw in the NCAA Tournament

The Kentucky Wildcats will head to Pittsburgh for the NCAA Tournament.
In this story:

The Kentucky Wildcats just found out their bracket, and they will head to Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, for their first game of the NCAA Tournament.

The Wildcats will play Oakland in the first round of the NCAA Tournament in what should be a fun matchup.

Looking at the bracket as a whole, you have to like it if you are a Kentucky fan, aside from the one seed being the Houston Cougars. For Kentucky to make a run, they would have to get past a few solid basketball teams, but Oakland is a team the Wildcats should beat. Then, they would face the winner of six-seed Texas Tech and 11-seed NC State.

If the Wildcats were able to make it to the second weekend of the NCAA Tournament, they would likely play the two-seed Marquette, and this is a matchup you have to like based on the way the Wildcats play.

The really scary part of this draw is Houston, but the Wildcats would face them in the Elite Eight, and you aren't really ever going to have an easy matchup that deep into the Tournament. Houston plays a style of basketball that does not favor Kentucky, as they have an elite defense.

Kentucky has proven they can score on some of the best defenses in college basketball, but Houston's defense is far and away the best in the nation.

Of course, you have to take this one at a time, but Kentucky got an excellent draw and has a good chance to make it to the second week of the NCAA Tournament.

The early exit in Nashville didn't hurt the Wildcats seed, and hopefully, this will give the team time to rest up and get ready for a deep run in the NCAA Tournament.

The defense needs to be better for this team to make a run, but hopefully, the lights of March Madness will fuel this team to make a run.
