Kentucky has to play better away from Rupp Arena

The Kentucky Wildcats have to play better away from Rupp Arena.
In this story:

The Kentucky Wildcats lost to South Carolina on the road in blowout fashion last night.

Kentucky couldn't get anything going offensively, leading to the Wildcats scoring 62 points for a season-low in the loss. Kentucky is now 4-2 in SEC play but 1-2 on the road in conference play. On top of the loss to South Carolina, Kentucky lost in overtime to Texas A&M and barely beat the Florida Gators on the road. This team just isn't playing well away from Rupp Arena in true road environments. Kentucky has done well this season in neutral site games, but when playing true road games, it has been a struggle. Playing on the road in SEC play is hard on everyone, especially this young Kentucky team.

Kentucky still has to play some really good teams on the road, like Tennessee and Auburn, so winning these games if Kentucky doesn't play well will be nearly impossible. Kentucky needs to find a way to improve their play away from Rupp Arena, or losses could start to stack up in SEC play, which will hurt NCAA Tournament seeding.

The good news for the Kentucky Wildcats is that the SEC Tournament and NCAA Tournament games are not true road games, and Big Blue Nation is the best traveling fan base in college basketball. Wherever this team goes in March and hopefully April, they will have the support of an incredible fan base to make them feel at home. But when it comes to the remaining six road games in SEC play, Kentucky needs to find a way to win some of these, or they could drop multiple seed lines.
