Six former Kentucky basketball players ranked inside CBS Sport's top 20 NBA players

This list puts into perspective how many former Cats are elite in the NBA.

One thing Kentucky is known for other than horses is sending lots of talented basketball players to the NBA.

John Calipari prides himself on developing these players and having them ready to achieve their NBA dreams.

CBS Sports put out a list of their top 20 players in the NBA, and there were a handful of former Cats on this list.

Let's take a look at the former Kentucky Wildcats that were on this list.

8. Devin Booker, Phoenix Suns

11. Shai Gilgeous-Alexander, Oklahoma City Thunder

13. Anthony Davis, Los Angeles Lakers

18. Jamal Murray, Denver Nuggets

19. De'Aaron Fox, Sacramento Kings

 20. Bam Adebayo, Miami Heat

That means that six of the top 20 players in the NBA played their college basketball for the Kentucky Wildcats under Coach Calipari.

One thing is for sure it's hard to turn on an NBA primetime game and not find a former Cat on the court.

It's really cool to see just how many talented NBA players played their college hoops in Lexington.
