It's game day for the Kentucky Wildcats as they are getting ready to take on the Oakland Golden Grizzlies in the NCAA Tournament.

Yesterday, the players had the chance to speak with the media, and the Oakland players had some interesting comments. Oakland sharpshooter Jack Gohlke, star forward Trey Townsend, and Blake Lampman all had some comments about the game to the media. Perhaps it was something they said, but whatever comments did, something struck a chord with Kentucky seven-footer Ugonna Onyenso.

Onyenso had this to say about the comments from the Oakland players, "I heard they're talking crap. I'm not gonna say nothing. Just step into the ring. If you're gonna talk, I hope you're going to back your words up when it's time to fight."

We don't know exactly what comments upset Onyenso, but clearly, he feels the Golden Grizzlies are "talking crap," and it seems like the Wildcats will use this as motivation. To be fair, the Oakland players have, time and time again talked about how talented this Kentucky team is, but they have made it clear they believe they can win. You wouldn't expect a team to not give themselves a chance in the NCAA Tournament.

Kentucky shouldn't need any extra motivation in the NCAA Tournament, but if they did need some, this could be it. At the end of the day, the Wildcats need to let their game talk and take care of business against an Oakland team that they are much better than.

The Wildcats will take on Oakland at 7:10 pm et on CBS.
