WATCH: Justin Edwards is scoring tough baskets around the rim against Miami
The Kentucky Wildcats are hosting the Miami Hurricanes in the SEC/ACC Challenge, looking to represent the SEC with a huge win over a top-ten opponent.
The atmosphere in Rupp Arena is absolutely electric, and that has led to some early success for the Cats against this ACC foe.
Justin Edwards, in particular, has looked good on the offensive side of the floor early, scoring four points around the rim.
Edwards also has two early offensive rebounds in this ball game. Hopefully, this hot start will spark the talented freshman as he continues to find his footing in college basketball.
After the hot start, the Hurricanes are making a big run, so the Cats need to slow it down and settle back into this basketball game.
If Edwards can continue to figure out his stroke from deep, this will help him get to the basket when he pump fakes a shot.
There's no question it's been a slow start to the career of Edwards, but he will figure it out and turn this around. Hopefully, that happens in this ball game.
Let's take a look at one of Edward's baskets around the rim that was a part of the Cat's early run against Miami.
