Kentucky Briefing: On3 lists guard Rob Dillingham as one of the top stock risers in college hoops

On3 had some high praise for Kentucky freshman guard Rob Dillingham.

Rob Dillingham has been red hot to start the season for the Cats, and this solid beginning to his college basketball career has earned him some praise from national media.

Jamie Shaw of On3 made a list of ten players who have raised their stock early into the 2023-24 college basketball season, and Dillingham was one of the listed names.

The name I am surprised to not see on this list is Reed Sheppard. He has been one of if not the best shooters in all of college basketball and like Dillingham is doing it off the bench.

It seems like he has played his way into the NBA Draft conversation, so it's a bit surprising he was not named on this list.

Dillingham is a really good guard who will have an outstanding season for the Cats and likely slip into the first round of the NBA Draft.

If the Cats make a deep run in the NCAA Tournament Dillingham will be a big reason why.

One thing we have learned is that taking Kentucky guards in the NBA Draft is a pretty safe bet.

Andy Patton Wrote about the best five Kentucky players in the NBA so far this season.

"The Kentucky Wildcats remain the most prolific college basketball program at producing NBA talent, with a whopping 26 players in the association for the 2023-24 season."

"Kentucky players aren't just roster fillers either; in fact, five Wildcats are ranked inside the top 31 in points per game so far this year - including two 'Cats in the Top 10."
