The Kentucky Wildcats are not afraid to load up the non-conference slate, even with the rise of the SEC giving them more opportunities to pick up Quad 1 and Quad 2 victories during conference play.
This year is no different, with John Calipari's team scheduling a handful of powerhouses before conference play begins and even one (Gonzaga) right in the middle of SEC play on February 10.
KenPom's 2023-24 preseason ratings were revealed over the weekend, with the Wildcats coming in at No. 18 overall and fifth in the conference behind Tennessee, Alabama, Arkansas, and Auburn.
