Kentucky Briefing: Zvonimir Ivisic didn't partake in the Blue-White game
Saturday was the annual Blue-White scrimmage, which was supposed to be Big Blue Nation's first opportunity to see Zvonimir Ivisic play.
Coach Cal said we would see Ivisic play in the Blue-White game at the end of Big Blue Madness.
Ivisic didn't play in the Blue-White game, and this had many concerned, especially since he went through warmups and looked good doing so.
Coach Calipari said that after three hard days of practice, Ivisic was cramping, and that's why they held him out of the scrimmage.
It sounds to me like if the Cats were playing a real opponent, he would have been able to play, and this was more of a precaution.
Big Z still has a few more weeks to get his feet under him before the 2023-24 season begins.
He is going to be an absolute force to be reckoned with in the SEC this season.
