Kentucky football could be closing in on a massive commitment from a top-ranked homegrown talent.

Just two days after announcing his top-10 schools, 4-star quarterback Cutter Boley has announced his commitment date. The No. 3 overall QB in the 2025 class (On3 Consensus) will reveal his school of choice on the morning of Thursday, May 18:

Originally not expected to commit until later in the summer, Boley moving his decision up bodes well for Kentucky — which has been the favorite to land the Lexington Christian Academy product.

Penn State, Alabama, Michigan, Oregon, Notre Dame, Tennessee, Florida State and TCU also made Boley's top 10, with the Volunteers considered one of the other early frontrunners.

UK offensive coordinator Liam Coen has made the push to try and land the gunslinger, as Boley has made plenty of visits to Lexington, and even has an official visit set for the summer. On3's Chad Simmons also recently placed a crystal ball prediction for Boley to Kentucky, further suggesting that the Cats are closing in on one of the top talents in the '25 class.

Rivals ranks Boley as the No. 12 overall player and No. 2 QB in the class, while all four major recruiting services have the Hodgenville, Ky. native as the No. 1 player in the Bluegrass.

The commitment will take place at 11 a.m. EST at Lexington Christian Academy.
