Kentucky Offers In-State 2025 PG Jasper Johnson

The Woodford County standout officially owns a scholarship offer from UK.

It was only a matter of time, but Kentucky basketball and head coach John Calipari have finally pulled the trigger on officially offering a scholarship to Lexington's own Jasper Johnson.

The 4-star point guard out of Woodford County High School has been performing on the Nike EYBL Circuit, and he finally earned his offer on Friday, MadeHoops' Travis Graf reports:

Johnson is the No. 26 overall player, No. 5 PG and No. 1 player in Kentucky, per the On3 Consensus. UK is added to an offer list that includes:

  • Cincinnati
  • Alabama
  • Ohio State
  • Arkansas
  • Louisville
  • Texas A&M
  • Memphis

Johnson joins Darryn Peterson, Darius Acuff, Koa Peat and Meleek Thomas as 2025 players to boast offers from Kentucky. The in-stater has all the connections necessary to be considered a potential Wildcat down the line.
