I decided I wanted to rank the top ten K-Staters to come from the state of Missouri, and here is what I came up with:
#1 Barrett Brooks OT 1991-1994 Florissant, MO A 2nd Team All American (Sporting News) in 1994. 1st team all Big 8 in 1994, 2nd team all Big 8 in 1993. Drafted in the 2nd round of the 1995 NFL Draft
#2 David Allen RB 1997-2000 Liberty, MO Consensus All American as a return man in 1998. Tied NCAA record for most career punt return TDs with 7. Set NCAA record for most PR TDs in consecutive games with 3.
#3 Jordan Willis DE 2013-2016 Kansas City, MO Big 12 defensive player of the year & 2nd team All American (Sporting News & Pro Football Focus) in 2016. Tied K-State record for most sacks in a season (11.5). Drafted in the 3rd round of the 2017 NFL draft.
#4 Josh Freeman QB 2006-2008 Grandview, MO Set Kansas State records for passing yards (season & career), and for career passing TDs. Drafted in the 1st round of the 2009 NFL draft.
