Meet the Opposition: Chuba Hubbard, RB, Oklahoma State
Oklahoma State running back Chuba Hubbard has had an impressive start to the season.
After just three games - the 6'1" 210lb sophomore has 66 carries for 521 yards and 7 touchdowns. That's good for an average of 7.9 yards per carry.
And he's not done yet. We should expect that by the time next year begins, we'll see Hubbard on the Heisman and Doak Walker watch lists.
But over the next week, he'll be on the Wildcats watch list as they prepare to do battle in Stilwell next Saturday.
Kansas State has done an impressive job so far limiting opposition running attacks - but they've not faced an offense, or a runner, as good as the Cowboys and Hubbard.
Kansas State boasts a good secondary with a strong chance of limiting OSU's passing attack. Their success in this one may very well come down to their ability to stop Hubbard.
