Meet your Standout: Jahron McPherson, Cornerback, Kansas State

Through three games one of the Wildcats defensive standouts has been Junior Defensive Back Jahron McPherson.

With eleven tackles through three weeks of the 2019 campaign, Basehor-Linwood (KS) alum Jahron McPherson has left a mark on the field.

The Kansas City native started his collegiate career at Butler Community College before becoming a late addition to the 2017 class for the Wildcats.

McPherson's game against Mississippi State is getting overlooked because Denzel Goolsby was so good - but the 6'1", 197lb corner was highly effective for the Wildcats.

After recording only 19 total tackles in 2018 - let's hope this is a sign that McPherson has turned a corner under the new coaching staff!
