Malik Knowles - Future All-American
In the wake of Isaiah Zuber transferring late this summer, many Kansas State fans were left wondering where the team would turn to in order to generate pass production.
While most felt like Dalton Schoen would shine - its freshman Malik Knowles has taken most of the playmaking spotlight.
While injuries limited him somewhat, he has shined in the role that he has played thus far. Through five games, he has notched 13 receptions for 190 yards and two touchdowns; while adding a 30+ yard average returning kicks and another score.
Simply put, Malik has been outstanding. As Skylar Thompson develops more confidence in him, his role will almost assuredly increase.
And who knows, three years from now, we could be talking about the next Kansas State All American. I don't think any Wildcat fans would be surprised.
