Louisville's Olivia Cochran, Kiki Jefferson Named to 2023-24 All-ACC Team

LOUISVILLE, Ky. — Louisville women's basketball graduate guard Kiki Jefferson and senior forward Olivia Cochran were both named to the All-ACC Second Team, the conference announced Tuesday afternoon. Cochran was named to the Preseason All-ACC team and Jefferson was on the Newcomer Watch List prior to the season.
Jefferson has played all 31 games this season and made 29 starts in her lone season at Louisville. She leads the team with 13.0 points per game this season, tied for the team lead with 2.5 assists per game and is third in rebounding with 4.6 per game. In ACC games this season, she led the team with 13.6 points per game and 2.8 assists per game. Jefferson is one of the best free throw shooters in the country this season as she is shooting 89.6 percent from the line, which leads the ACC and ranks 13th nationally.
In ACC play, Jefferson tallied two of her 20-point games this season, including her season-high 27 points against Boston College on Jan. 25. She recorded her first double-double of the season with 10 points and 10 rebounds against Virginia.
Cochran has played and started all 31 games this season for the Cardinals. She leads the team with 6.5 rebounds, 1.4 steals and 0.5 blocks per game this season while she is one of four players to average 10 or more points per game (10.7).
She recorded two of her four double-doubles this season against ACC opponents with a team-leading 17 points and 12 rebounds on the road against No. 3 NC State and then had a team-best 16 points with 11 rebounds against Florida State. In the road win over Georgia Tech, Cochran hauled in 12 rebounds and was just shy of a double-double with eight points.
Cochran, Jefferson and the Cardinals are heading down to Greensboro for the 2024 Ally Women's Tournament that begins on Wednesday. The Cardinals are set to start in Greensboro on Thursday morning as they are the No. 5 seed and will play the winner of the 12/13 seed game between Clemson and Boston College, which opens the tournament Wednesday afternoon. Thursday's game for Louisville will begin at 11 a.m. ET and the game will be broadcast nationally on the ACC Network.
